JODIAC
About Jodiac
A calculation engine for Indian astrology, with reports, a free numerology tool and an API.
What we do
Jodiac is a calculation engine for Indian astrology, with a public face. It works out where the nine grahas stand for any moment between 1900 and 2100, and builds charts, panchang, dashas and matching from those positions.
On top of that engine we offer written reports as PDF files, a free numerology calculator, short pages that explain the vocabulary, and an API for developers who want the same calculations inside their own products.
Why it exists
Many astrology tools hide how they get their numbers, or promise more than any chart can deliver. We wanted the opposite: calculations you can trace to a published source, text that says what the tradition says without dressing it up as a prediction, and a site that does not follow you around.
How we work
- Calculation first. Positions come from a scientific ephemeris. Interpretation is a separate layer and is clearly worded as tradition.
- Plain claims. We do not promise outcomes, and we do not give health, money or legal advice.
- Private by default. No advertising and no third-party scripts. We count page views and order steps without cookies. Your language and theme choices stay in your browser.
- Original text. The explanations on this site and in the reports are written for Jodiac.
